Competitor Intelligence
The Competitor Intelligence Blueprint leverages S&P Capital IQ Financials, S&P Capital IQ Estimates, Company Connections: Detailed Estimates, and GICS® to develop components for a Competitor Intelligence Dashboard. This workflow constructs a competitor peer group using the output from the Company Peer Group using Similarity Analysis Blueprint, collects data on these companies, and creates charts for comparative analysis.
Using this workflow, a user can build individual tables and visualizations or combine them into a comprehensive Competitor Intelligence Dashboard. The high-level dashboard can provide quick insights to internal management and executives, while allowing analytics teams to conduct more detailed interactive analyses and share their findings.
The output of this workflow can be directly utilized to create dashboards in various dashboarding tools, such as Databricks AI/BI Dashboards, Tableau, and Power BI. Additionally, it serves as the foundational building blocks for more advanced competitor intelligence workflows.
