The Fixed Income Ownership dataset, originated from IHS Markit, includes institutional and fund holder information on global fixed income securities. You can leverage this database to examine top owners of a particular fixed income instrument and the historical trends of those owners back to 2009. Typically, this is used by banks to increase deal participation. In addition, you can also examine portfolios of owners to determine preferred sectors or cohorts of fixed income securities to uncover trends/signals in ownership changes. 

The database includes over 650,000 fixed income securities from varying asset classes (loans, corporate, structure products, municipal, etc.) and over 13,000 buyside institutions. The data is sourced via our global coverage of mutual fund portfolio data. Updates are provided on a daily basis.
