Geopressure Data

The Geopressure dataset provides comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date data, including formation, fracture and mud pressures, maximum recorded and corrected bottom hole temperatures, formation water salinities, and associated drilling commentary.

S&P Global Energy

At S&P Global Energy, our complete view of global energy and commodities markets enables our customers to make decisions with conviction and create long-term, sustainable value. We’re a trusted connector that brings together thought leaders, market participants, governments, and regulators to co-create solutions that lead to progress. Vital to navigating Energy Transition, S&P Global Energy coverage includes oil and gas, power, petrochemicals, metals, agriculture, shipping and more.

The Geopressure dataset follows a multistep, consistent approach to repicking and evaluating all test pressures ensures consistency and confidence in the data.

Data is sourced directly from the original well test and logging reports, such as wireline formation tests, drill stem tests, kicks, loss of circulation events, formation integrity and leak off tests.

This dataset provides a competitive edge to geoscientists, drillers and engineers, enabling informed decisions with speed, and confidence with immediate access to our subsurface data. With up to 90% of unpredicted downtime in highly pressured areas being due to overpressure, Geopressure Data saves time, money and increases safety.
