The Refinery Operations and Production Insights dataset offers a comprehensive view of refinery performance across key geographies and commodities. This dataset encompasses a wide range of key geographies, including but not limited to Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. It also covers essential commodities such as Gasoline, Diesel Fuel, Jet Fuel, Naphtha, and Crude Oil.

Leverage this dataset to forecast gasoline production in North America, analyze feedstock demand, and identify regional surpluses or deficits. It helps gauge crude oil consumption by country-level refineries, supports internal modeling for liquids balance and price forecasts, and enables assessment of refinery performance over time. Insights can also be used to build commodity-specific production forecasts and spot arbitrage opportunities.

This dataset includes three main components:

• Refinery Utilization Rate: Measures the throughput of crude runs as a percentage of refinery capacity, with historical data dating back to 1985 and forecasts extending up to 25 years. Short-term data, updated monthly, covers the years from 2017 onward for a 2-year forecast.
• Refinery Production: Provides detailed monthly and yearly updates on country- and region-level refinery production, with historical records starting from 2002 and forecasts available for up to 2 years in the short-term dataset. Long-term data extends back to 1985, updated annually.
• Refinery Runs: Offers insights into the monthly and yearly updates of crude runs at country- and region-level, with historical data from 1985 and forecasts for the next 25 years. Short-term data is available from 2017 onward.
