U.S. Drilling & Development Activity

The U.S. Drilling and Development Activity dataset, originated from IHS Markit, brings together a powerful combination of drilling and rig markets data to help companies stay ahead of competition. This unique dataset is inclusive of all the same well attributes as our base well data subscriptions, but designed with an increased focus on leading-edge activity.

This dataset includes:

  • Daily rig activity and daily permits, syndicated hourly
  • Rig specifications
  • Well data tracking new spuds and completions with associated drilling and downhole data (2-year look-back)
  • Mobile application, including turn-by-turn driving directions to active drilling sites while seamlessly connecting to daily permits, rig activity statistics, and market news
  • Five years of cumulative production and associated well data with “Activity Monitor upgrade
  • Bit records and drilling curves with an “Offset Drilling Data” upgrade

Please note earliest coverage for Rigs data is 2013; Wells and Permits content is a rolling two years of history.
