Climanomics is a risk analytics platform that calculates the financial impact of climate risk on physical assets or real estate investments and aggregates up to the portfolio level. Analysis spans across eight decades for four emissions scenarios and covers any location on the planet.
Climanomics is designed to support a range of use cases, including risk management, sustainable investing, strategic decision-making, as well as compliance and reporting.
New climate risk capabilities include:
- Coastal flood risk calculations for real estate properties at nine return periods from 1 in 20 years to 1 in 1,000 years. These calculations are critical inputs to risk models used for climate stress-testing. Calculations are based on absolute hazard metrics (flood depth).
- Landslide, one of the physical hazards prescribed by the EU Taxonomy, has been launched. Individual assets are now assessed for landslide risk.
