S&P Global European ESG Reporting Template (EET)

The S&P Global European ESG Template (EET) is a voluntary reporting framework developed to help Financial Market Participants (FMP) with regulatory reporting by standardizing and consolidating across Sustainable Financial Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), EU Taxonomy, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) and the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) reporting frameworks. Our EET solution provides constituent level mapping to support fund-level aggregation across our EU regulatory, climate and business involvement datasets including:

  • Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) including company and sovereigns
  • EU Taxonomy
  • Paris Alignment
  • Business Involvement Screens

The corporate disclosure necessary to populate all SFDR PAIs data may not be fully available. The EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulations (SFDR) dataset may therefore use proxy data as a substitute for certain PAIs where disclosures are not currently available.

The EET is a FinDatEx initiative to facilitate the process of data exchange between stakeholders in the operation of European Financial Market legislation, and it is not regulated by the EU institutions.
