TCFD Analytics Suite
The TCFD Analytics Suite allows you to analyze historical and forward-looking scenario-based transition and physical risk to support climate-related disclosures in line with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). What started as a voluntary framework has been retained mandatory in various countries in efforts to increase transparency through disclosures that provide consistent and decision-useful information for market participants. Utilize this offering to inform various steps of the TCFD reporting journey, from quantifying climate-related financial risks and opportunities to engaging with business stakeholders to turn metrics into action.
The TCFD Analytics Suite includes:
- Trucost Environmental: Run a baseline carb on footprint and identify holdings with exposures to fossil fuel activities.
- Trucost Carbon Earnings at Risk: Stress test companies’ current ability to absorb future carbon prices and understand potential earnings at risk from carbon pricing on a portfolio level.
- Trucost Paris Alignment: Track against the goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C or 2°C climate change scenarios.
- Physical Risk: Assess forward-looking company exposure to physical risk at the asset-level to seven climate change physical risk indicators across multiple scenarios.
- Global Instruments Cross Reference Service (GICRS): Access a database of global security identifiers cross-referencing 65 million+ instruments for linking across datasets.
- Market Data: Gain insight into traded currency, both split-adjusted and as quoted pricing data across open, close, high, low, volume, and other data points.
- GICS®: Identify the industry a company is a part of based on industry classification.
Utilize the Trucost datasets with pre-built notebooks* available via the S&P Global Marketplace Workbench to get started on your TCFD reporting journey.
