The Trucost Green Bonds dataset provides robust and comprehensive environmental data and analytics that support the assessment of the potential positive impacts of projects financed by green or sustainable bonds.

The dataset helps investors understand the absolute impact associated with green bonds as well as the net impact (avoided emissions), and lifecycle emissions intensities, using both disclosed and estimated data. Users of this data can select green bonds that have the highest positive impact or report on the positive impact of their portfolios.

The dataset covers 2000+ bonds across Green Energy, Green Transport, Green Buildings and Energy Efficiency project categories and the following metrics:

  • Use of Proceeds by Region, Project Type and Technology (%)
  • Annual and Lifetime Absolute GHG Emissions and Intensities
  • Production data (Green GWh, Green m2, etc.)
  • Annual Avoided GHG Emissions reported by the Issuer and estimated by Trucost (tCO2e)
