To access S&P Global data through Claude, click "add connectors," select the S&P Global tile, and log into your authorized account. With this cutting-edge integration, customers can unlock S&P Global’s trusted data and insights with natural language queries, enabling financial professionals to answer complex financial questions and get fast, reliable answers grounded in reliable data from S&P Global. This integration connects the Kensho LLM-ready API and its wealth of S&P Global datasets to Anthopic’s Claude, enabling customers to perform tasks such as valuing public companies, conducting equity research, creating M&A target profiles, and much more.
How it works: Using Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard developed by Anthropic, Kensho built an MCP server for the Kensho LLM-ready API enabling seamless access to S&P Global’s trusted financial and market data. Datasets now available through Claude include:
